CUSTOM REPLACEMENT PARTS

When the Part Is Hard to Find, Recreate It.

For suitable applications, 3D printing can provide a practical path for discontinued, broken, modified, or application-specific replacement parts.

HOW WE CAN START

You do not always need an existing CAD file

Depending on the part, we may be able to work from different kinds of reference information.

Existing CAD File

If you already have STL, STEP, 3MF, or another usable model, we can review it for production.

Physical Sample

A broken or original part can sometimes be measured and recreated in CAD.

Photos & Measurements

Simple geometry may be possible to model from clear images, dimensions, and application details.

3D Scan Data

Scanning can help capture complex reference geometry for selected reverse-engineering workflows.

Modified Version

We can sometimes improve a weak feature, change dimensions, or adapt a part for a new use.

Small-Batch Copies

Once a design is validated, selected parts can be reproduced in low quantities when 3D printing is appropriate.

IMPORTANT

Not every replacement part should be 3D printed.

Safety-critical, high-temperature, highly loaded, regulated, or otherwise demanding parts need careful evaluation. We consider how the part is used before recommending a printable material or process.

Tell us the operating temperature, load, environment, and expected use.
Bring or photograph the surrounding assembly when fit and interfaces matter.
Prototype and verify the design before relying on repeat production.

A photo, sample, dimensions, or CAD file is a good place to start.
